apowerr
source: http://uneasysilence.com/archive/2007/07/11315/ Apple’s iPhone firmware was found as a download on Apple’s website. Once the file is decompressed it reveals two DMG’s, one of which is password protected. You can only assume thats where all the good stuff is. Now mind you this is NOT the OS, but the firmware, but having possession of the firmware of a device could enable you to modify the most basic functions of how a device operates. Anyone care to Brute force the password protected DMG? Yes, the iPhone firmware is a free download found here: http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/co...3a_Restore.ipsw Download it while you can! Colonel
I love how Apple has a "Model Identifier" for all of their hardware. <key>ProductType</key> <string>iPhone1,1</string Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/55829-iphone-firmware-free-download-from-applecom/#findComment-399129 Share on other sites
