Samuel Gordon
Have you ever tried test your computer with wattmeter? I'm quite surprised because idle power drain in Mac OS X is 145W and in Windows 125W. How is that possible? Kind of measurement error?
scoutme
you should consider a hacked os probably doesn't support cpu/gpu scaling and power comsumption reduction methods at the level of a regular os. I'll be very interested in a try with a linux distro. Could you try and let us know? Thanks
Samuel Gordon
At this time, I have no linux distro. However I'm curious about it and if nobody will appear with wattmeter and triple boot PC (Win, Mac, Linux), I'll install Ubuntu and try.
