  1. iPod USB connection problem

  2. iPod USB connection problem

OK, I'm not sure what's going on but now no devices attached to my USB ports are working. iPod, various USB flash sticks, my SonyEricsson mobile phone. Not even the mouse. I have to connect it through PS/2. The only thing working is Nikon D60 camera. This is really weird! Someone please help.
  3. iPod USB connection problem

I installed iDeneb v1.6 10.5.8 on my AMD system and it seemed to me that everything worked JUST GREAT (except About This Mac causes crash, Dropbox application causes kernel panic and some random kernel panic occured ;) ). My USB stick and my Nikon camera works, as well as the printer. I had to install VoodooUSBEHCI kext to get it work. However, when I plug in the iPod it shows up in System Profiler but not in system itself. It's not available as an external disk, neither in Disk Utility nor in iTunes. Is there any other kext I should try to install? Thanks.
  4. Qoopz 9.8.0 v2 kernel - based on Voodoo

Tried on AMD too. Everything went perfect until I tried to run the Dropbox application. I was prompted to enter the admin password and voila - kernel panic Here's the screenshot: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/442960/DSC00622.JPG BTW I tried to install Qoopz 9.8.0, AnV 9.7.0 and even Voodoo 9.5.0 and it's still absolutely the same I use iDeneb v1.6. Can be something done about that? Or can it be caused by some other extension or fix installed during the installation of iDeneb?
  5. I'm running 10.4.10 on my AMD machine now and I'm unable to run Leopard. Therefore, I've decided to upgrade my machine but what motherboard is "the best one"?
  6. iPC boot problem (ACPI_SMC_PLATFORM timed out)

Up. I installed it maybe 10 times by now. And it's still absolutely the same error. I don't understand it. I even downloaded xXx version of Mac OS X... Am I really the only one getting this error?? What can I do?
  7. iPC boot problem (ACPI_SMC_PLATFORM timed out)

Please, help. I have no clue what it's caused by. Of course, I tried to search but without luck Am I really the only one having this problem?
  8. I use iPC Universal FINAL 10.5.6. My configuration is in the signature. I install Voodoo 9.5.0 kernel, NVInject 256MB, AppleNForceATA nForce Drivers, AC97, Forcedeth NF4 LAN driver, PS2 keyboard and remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. On boot I get message: "ACPI_SMC_PLATFORM PLUGIN::START - WaitForService (resource Matching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out" What seems to me interesting about that is I got that same error if I installed "remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement" and also if I did not. What is this error caused by? Is here anyone who has an experience with a similar configuration? Thx.
  9. Jas AMD 10.4.8 to 10.4.11

I'm too interested in how to upgrade to 10.4.11 ... I'm running 10.4.10 AMD system now. Any ideas? I've tried it many times so far but without success.
  10. Change Mac OS X Version easily

Could someone please reseed it? Thx Link doesn't work for me.
  11. All AMD users. Let's get united! DINOSRULES

I just installed Security Update 2008-002 on my Tiger 10.4.10... and it won't start There's a kind of loop. Something wrong with loginwindow.app. I'm a little disappointed because everyone said everything was allright on hackintosh with this update. All the more I can't find any logs of boot-up. Where should I find it? I guess system.log in /var/log or /private/var/log, am I right? However, nothing is writting into... if you know what I mean. I boot in Tiger, it fails and then I reboot to Leopard install on the second disk and want to check out the logs but it's not there. Only older records. Any ideas plz?
