Geforce 4 MX - Kernel Panic

Hi guys!

I've just installed OS X on my PC and really, really love it!

Thank you all for your work!

Ok, of course it doesn't work flawlessly..

My problem is that the kernel panics when trying to use NVidia drivers.

I've got a Geforce 4 MX and it works in standard VGA mode after removing the original NVidia drivers from Apple, but that doesn't really satisfy me as a resolution of 1024x786 doesn't look that nice on a 22" screen :thumbsdown_anim:

I'm sure there are topics on this and a link to them is enough but I didn't find a solution, yet.

Are there any drivers known to work?

Ah, and I'm new to this system so a step by step guide would be very, very cool.

Thank you in advance!

Pascal

Hi SpeedFreak,

thank you for your answer.. I'm currently running 1.4.8 JaS patched.

Is the MacVidia driver the included one or one I'd have to download first?

Would be cool to get it running,

maybe someone could upload the driver included in 1.4.6 here?

Thank you

Pascal
