7900GTX sort of working

Hi,

 

I'm trying to get my Asus 7900GTX ( 512MB ) to work in OS X. I've patched the card's bios according to instructions and it works fine. I would like to have some other resolution than 1024x768 on my screen though

 

I've tried installing NVinject and NVidiaEFI and they seem to work, my card is detected and the native resolution is printed. However the driver never loads. I also tried editing Geforce.kext, setting

Any suggestions? I've tried Titan/Natit without success too.

Forgot to add I'm running 10.4.9 from _TubGirl_, the kernel is 8.9.1

i open ci&qe for msi 7900gtx 512mb (resolution 1680*1050 )

 

key point:7900gtx is 512mb not 256mb

so you use Titan/Natit not to work..

if its the notebook version of the 7900gtx, it only has 256, not 512. no one seems to understand that fact.
