epoxxy Posted June 28, 2007 Share Posted June 28, 2007 its said in this forum that the only way to make the Intel 855GM graphics-chip to work with QE is to install 10.4.1 But is'nt there a way to use those "kext"-files used in that version and use them in the newer 10.4.8 (and newer)? Either to copy and use the "right" kexts from the 10.4.1 dvd into my 10.4.8 installation. OR format and install the 10.4.1, backup the kexts and then upgrade to 10.4.8?
