jackybrown Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 I had captured a uncompressed .mov file from my DV, when I use Quicktime to show the file, I found the quality is worse than the quality shown in FCS2. I have attached a screen shot for that. Any comment? thanks. delish Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 try Quicktime/Prefrences General tab "Use high-quality video setting when available", thou it could look like its the gamma setting thats different on the screenshot, dv-video uses tv gamma (2.2) so it could be that FCP uses that, where as QT just uses your monitors gamma.
