collar Posted June 23, 2007 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Dear Friends, Just installed Jas 10.4.8 on an Intel Desktop..Everything works fine except internet access through the Realtek RTL 8139 Lan..Searched and found a package installer hoping it might do the trick. Im very new to Apple and would appreciate any detailed help on how to install this. Lkr Posted June 23, 2007 Share Posted June 23, 2007 as in package do you mean .tar.gz? or .kext? if its .tar.gz unzip it, if its .kext put it in your /System/Library/Extensions folder. You will need to put in your password to move it however.
