Hagar
WOW! 1.7 celeron is about the second-slowest sse2 cpu out there, and VIA is not one of the more helpful chipsets either, so congratulations on getting it running at all assuming it's a via rhine nic, there is This Driver (courtesy of dapsaille) but it was written for 10.4.4 and people have had mixed results. Some people report VIA rhine working straight off in JaS 10.4.8 so it may be just a case of editing the vendor and device IDs in one of the existing kexts. good luck, sorry I couldn't help you more. smocksturr
hahahah, i know. get my setup: G3 500 iMac and 1.7ghz Celeron it's a Rhine II I found what looked like an OSX driver, installed it, but still no internet connect. i'll try this one. Once i install a driver, what is the process in internet connecting?
