twaddle Posted June 20, 2007 Share Posted June 20, 2007 So I've installed the JaS 10.4.8 on to my Samsung X15 laptop. Install completed fine, but booting in to OSX the display is distorted and after a while I can hear the welcome music for the setup screens but have no video. Graphics are GeForce FX5200 apparently. I did install the ATI/NVIDIA pack on install, are there any obvious things to try? Macshiba Posted June 21, 2007 Share Posted June 21, 2007 Try installing without the graphics drivers, and see if that helps any. Then install Macvidia and see if that works. I've had tons of problems installing with graphics drivers from the install disks. Just reran the install without the provided drivers, still no dice, no video at all. I'm reading as much as I can on this, I'd really like to get the samsung running OSX - would save lugging my 17" macbook a LOT of places...
