Scorpio123
Hi there, i have a fully working SSE 2 installation of MAC OS X 10.4.8 JaS, and wanted to try my hand at the MacDrive app so that i could access my OS X partition from Windows Vista Business.. The app works fine. Thing is though, when i boot back to the OS X partition, it gives me an HFS+ Partition Error. Now no problems here, i fix this by booting the OS X CD in Single User Mode and use the "rdisk0 - flag 2 - Setpid 2 - AF" sequence in order to change the ID from "07" back to "AF" and OS X boots properly. Thing is though, everytime i boot back into Windows and use MACDrive, it keeps givingme the same error.. So i have to insert the OS X disc again and again... Is there any way i can fix this?? spartango
macdrive is a good piece of software, i have nothing against it, but it does a number of things behind the users back, so i wouldn't trust it with ur osx partition. I would use some other filesystem, like fat32, for sharing. sorry
