skyliner34
Hi, When I install OSX 10.4.1 my mouse & keyboard works. But once installation is complete and I boot into OSX I cant use my Mouse or keyboard unless I disable USB support in BIOS. Thats no problem. But I cant dual boot becuase I cant select the OS to boot when I disable the USB support. Is there a way round this? Gdfath3r
I continue submitting problems with USB, probable somebody smarter can get a fix of this,...so here is the log: Jan 16 15:42:18 localhost DirectoryService[61]: Launched version 2.1 (v351.13) Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44. 22 AppleUSBEHCI[0x2ec2000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be) Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44. 24 AppleUSBEHCI[0x2ec2000]: UIMFinalize 0 0 0x2f1b580 Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44. 24 AppleUSBEHCI: unable to initialize UIM Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44.277 EHCI controller unable to take control from BIOS Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44.277 AppleUSBEHCI[0x2f4b000]: unable to obtain ownership: 0xe00002be Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44.277 AppleUSBEHCI[0x2f4b000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be) Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44.279 AppleUSBEHCI[0x2f4b000]: UIMFinalize 0 0 0x2f1b580 Jan 16 15:42:19 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 44.279 AppleUSBEHCI: unable to initialize UIM My specs are below. Because of this my USB works only in v1.1 no v2.0 support....previously in 10.4.1 everything was fine.
