marioval
I have tried installing 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] and uphuck 10.4.9 1.3. Neither will see my SATA hard drive in the disk utility. Here are some screenshots of my machines details. The first 5 screenshots are CPU-Z screens. The sixth screenshot is my WinXP device manager. The seventh screenshot is Acronis showing how my hard drive is currently partitioned. FYI, I'm currently running Ubuntu installed on that EXT3 partition and i'm using Acronis OS selector as my boot manager. I wanted to install OSx86 on that 21GB os unallocated space at the end of the hard drive. Also, shouldn't the installer be able to see my hard drive, even if it is partitioned wrong for the install? Here are the screenshots. Thanks for the help. http://home.valray.com/shots/
Lkr
you must first create a partition, set it as primary, then boot with the OSX86 disc. Then you may choose format the disc within the installer for OSX Journaled.
