OS X Drive Partition

Hello,

 

Am I able to partition my 300GB SATA HDD? I have OS X installed on the whole disk, what I want to do is have it partitioned like this;

 

1: 80GB Boot-up and applications disc.

2: 120GB Samples disc.

3: 100GB Audio sessions disc.

Go and get Ubantu CD, boot from it and start the partition manager. Its able to downsize your HFS+ partition, but before you do that, its better if you could disable the journal option for your HFS+.
