GCY
ok first off, I'm not a newbie at installing OSX on my machine. I've done it successfully at least 4 times. 3 of the 4 times are with different ISO files. I have been trying to get audio, internet, and graphic problems to work. Can't still seem to get them to work. Anyway, I have Vista installed for about 2 months now and haven't even run OSX till tonight. I decided to give it another shot. I even refer to a guide to make sure I'm doing everything correctly.(install Acronis disk suite, partition hard drive, install os selector, ect...) I'm using the Jas 10.4.8 iso DVD that I downloaded months ago. The installation went smoothly but after I hit the restart button is when the problem occurs. It restarts and I'm stuck on a BLACK SCREEN WITH A FLASHING DASH. I can't do nothing!! Not even logging in to Windows!! Please HELP!!! I would not want to reinstall and lose all my files! :( If its any help, I'm using a Dell E510 Core Dual 2.80 3GB RAM 256mb Nvadia Graphic card
xLitsx
Check your BIOs, make sure its booting to the right device. It might be trying to boot from cd still, and there is no CD.

GCY
I just pop in the vista installation cd and check out the Hard drives. My entire C drive have been formatted for whatever reason. Now I'm curious to find out what might cause this problem!!
