Beauford
I finally get MAC 10.4.4 installed on my PC only to find I have no keyboard. Every once in a while it will work, but most times not. I have seen various posts on this board about keyboards, but no answers - is there a solution to these keyboard problems. I have tried 4 different generic PS2 keyboards with no luck. I don't have a USB one to try. C'mon guys help me out here or I may just have to did out my Commodore 64 - it's the only machine I didn't have to fight with on a daily basis. comedown
My ps2 keyboard works. I had a ps2 mouse and the ps2 keyboard never worked. Changed to a USB mouse and now the ps2 keyboard works 95% of the time, the other 5% i normally reboot and it works second time around. I'm guessing it didn't like to ps2 connections. desentizised
the ironic thing about it is that when you boot for example from the CD and it asks you for boot options nothing but a PS2 keyboard works to set things straight; then in the OS i can normally use both but i rarely tried the PS2 because i prefer my usb keyboard; i wonder what mac keyboards are all about; they must be some kind of combination of both; or well i guess a mac can recognize its keyboards at any time while most pcs dont have usb-keyboard drivers outside an OS Martin
