sarahbau
I decided to try out VMWare on my Hackintosh after seeing some videos of it running. I currently have it running full screen on my second monitor, and it takes 40-120% of my CPU even when it's idle. Parallels in the same situation doesn't normally go above about 30%. Before anyone asks, no, I'm not running in debug mode. That used about 180% of my processor at idle. lol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/53384-processor-usage-in-vmware-fusion/ Share on other sites
time ed
I tried VMWare Fusion (latest beta) last night. I don't know whats up with it. It was slooooow, unresponsive, and kept both cores at 50%. VMWare tools didn't install properly and locked up the VM. I finally backed the application out to give the processor a rest. I guess I have much more reading to do.
