mrYuk
Hello all. I have tried searching on this subject, but haven't found anything really. Is there any way to use a 10.4.5 install DVD that came with a Mac (Macbook Pro) and simply patch it and re-burn it as a working OSx86 disc? I have tried getting a pre-patched ISO (JaS, uphuck, etc) from the usual places, but my internet connection doesn't play well with Torrents. I would be fine waiting through slow speeds to download a patch that is a few hundred megs, but downloading a 4.5 gig ISO just isn't going to happen for me. Thanks for any help! sarahbau
I don't believe there are any patches to convert a normal OS X CD image to an osx86 one. If there were, you'd probably have to deal with a large torrent anyway, which is what you seem to be trying to avoid. It took me about a week to download my osx86 image, and after it completed, it turned out to be corrupt, so I waited another week to download a good one. lol. It's worth it though.
