brockwitting Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 10.4.8 Installs, but wont boot. I installed the Jas 10.4.8 with the 2 PPF's on to my custom rig. It has an Asus IC7-G motherboard (i875P chipset) The rig has a GeForce 6800, 2Gb of ram, and OS X is installed on a 200Gb ATA h.d.d. 3.2 P4 prescott. Here is waht I see at boot Waiting for boot volume with UUID XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX Waiting on <dict ID="0"></key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID="1"><key><IOResourceMatch</key><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict> AGP: Found Intel 82875P host to AGP bridge FireWire (ohci) TI ID 8024 PCI now active, GUID 00509d0000f8c17e; max speed s400. some long line about a USB overcurrent condition Still Waiting for root Device some long line about a USB overcurrent condition some long line about a USB overcurrent condition Still Waiting on root device some long line about a USB overcurrent condition and it jsut keeps going like that... I think that its stuck on the firewire, cause thats the last piece of hardware before it stalls.. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appericated. Thanks.
