jchowland
Ok, Here's a problem for everyone: When I tried to boot the 8f1111 DVD, it came up with the usual fails (GeForce kext) and then said that it was creating a ram drive but couldn't allocate the last 256 blocks. It then takes about 25 minutes to get to the GUI and another 3 hours to install (ie it was running without the ramdrive aka smartdrive in windows). I'll post a screenie when I restart this machine. Any ideas on what is failing the ram drive? It's a separate HDD that OSX is already on, and it says that it can't load the driver for my SATA HDD (with windows) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5304-slow-8f1111-cannot-create-ram-drive/ Share on other sites
