dsc106
I want to have an icon on my desktop that just serves as a link to a webpage. Basically, a bookmark that I can double click on that will launch the browser and take me to that site, that way I dont need to open the browser, go to my bookmarks and go there. How can I create this link/alias/shortcut/bookmark icon on my desktop? Thanks! Sabr
Also, the link doesn't have to be in your bookmarks. You can just drag the link on the web page onto your desktop. - Sb. R0GUE
Also, the link doesn't have to be in your bookmarks. You can just drag the link on the web page onto your desktop. Or to be more specific; drag the link from the address bar to the desktop. Any Mac browser can do this including Firefox. Actually Sabr was correct in that you can drag a link. It doesn't have to be from the address bar. For example, drag this link to your desktop.
