flyfrog Posted December 2, 2005 Share Posted December 2, 2005 i installed 10.4.3 8f1099 with patch 1.1a natively it's completed successfully, but after reboot, stop at grey apple screen for ever i tried -v option,it says "couldn't find root user" what i suppose to do? i'm using an old IBM thinkpad t40, cpu is pm 1.3,and graphics card is ati 7500 mobile. I'm DL'n 10.4.3 now so I'm not as far as you yet lol. I had a problom much like that on here, except after about 10 mins it finished loading up (Everything took forever!) - After it loaded up I rebooted and it was fine... This thing boots faster than my twaked out XP box 4 sure,,, I'm not sure what that says about my tweaking or about MS.
