bgar0619
Hello All! So this is my first post. I've gotten quite far without having to ask any questions, so I don't know if this is new problem. I have a Sony laptop (VGN-C140G). With a little tweaking and tips from this site, most everything works great! Video, audio, wireless, etc. The only problem I have is that the OS will not boot if my power adapter isn't plugged in. This is all that comes up when I boot with the -v option: hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000 PAE enabled 64 bit mode enabled Enabling INTEL features standard timeslicing quantum is 10000us vm_page_bootstrap: 253453 free pages mig_table_max_displ = 71 Enabling XMM register save/restore and SSE/SSE3 opcodes ACPI CA 20051117 [debug level=0 layer =0] AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement: ready AppleACPICPU: ProcessorApicID=0 LocalApicID=0 Enabled AppleACPICPU: ProcessorApicID=1 LocalApicID=0 Enabled PASSED! ...maximum protection of commpage set ALL Copyright © 1982, 1981, 1989, 1991, 1993 The Regents of the University of California. It all goes by too fast when it actually boots for me to see what/if there's any difference in output up to this point. Here's my basic hardware: CPU: Intel Core2Duo (don't know model) Memory: 1GB HardDrive: 120GB SATA Video: Intel GMA950 Audio: ACL882 Hopefully someone can tell me what's going on! Thanks!
