Hello All!

So this is my first post. I've gotten quite far without having to ask any questions, so I don't know if this is new problem. I have a Sony laptop (VGN-C140G). With a little tweaking and tips from this site, most everything works great! Video, audio, wireless, etc. The only problem I have is that the OS will not boot if my power adapter isn't plugged in. This is all that comes up when I boot with the -v option:

using 5242 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers

IOAPIC: Version 0x20 Vectors 0:23

...And that's it. No hard drive activity or anything. It all goes by too fast when it actually boots for me to see what/if there's any difference in output up to this point.

Here's my basic hardware:

CPU: Intel Core2Duo (don't know model)

Memory: 1GB

HardDrive: 120GB SATA

Video: Intel GMA950

Audio: ACL882

Hopefully someone can tell me what's going on!

Thanks!
