Ktulu
Hello, I couldn't get a D915GUXL motherboard so I'll choose a D915GEVL instead. I looked at two sellers' websites and the specs say it can use either DDR2 PC2-4300 @ 533 MHz or DDR2 PC2-3200 @ 400 MHz. I want to use 533 MHz memory. Does it absolutely requires DDR2 PC-4300 or can PC-4200 just do fine ? Thanks in advance. cyrana
Just get whatever is cheaper. The only difference is in memory timings. Well, if the price differential is low, I guess the 4300 is better, but I don't know if you'll notice on a 'normal' system. Both are 533MHz (definitely go 533).
