Synaesthesia
Both seem good. It's more important how compatible your hardware is than what ISO you download, as they all come with many patches etc. and you can add your own later. I say go for uphuck, as it's the latest one. good luck Search the forums. A lot.

Synaesthesia
thanks in advance, I'm wondering what are these patches all about? are there more than one kernel for OS X? Yes, there are many. You need a cracked kernel, bcoz regular os x isn't going to run on a pc. It requires a mac, using efi etc. So we use patched kernels, specifically for your hardware. (pc hardware). Then there are various patches + hacks to get other hardware to work under os x. Eg sound, network etc. Both the disks you mentioned have many patched kernels and other patches. For example a seperate patch for amd, intel, sse2 and sse3. Try it out
