Erhnam Posted May 23, 2007 Share Posted May 23, 2007 I'm using 10.4.9 on my system and everything is running fine. The motherboard I'm using is a Asus p5b-e plus together with a core2 duo processor. I changed the bios settings for my sata drives to get this system up and running. Everything is set tot AHCI. When I try to set back the bios to IDE nothing will work, the system will not even start. Is there any way to use the IDE setting? This will allow me to use two additional SATA ports on the motherboard.
