Re all....

finally after hours of work the osx is up and running native in dual boot :D

the problem now is that the OS doesn't recognize my ethernet cards

my motherboard has two ethernet cards:

Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller

and

NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

no chanche of getting at least one of the two controllers to work? any driver around?

Most of the features from the nForce 4 SLI chipset do not have driver support. I have the A8N SLI Premium (same features) and I had read that LAN, audio, and SATA just aren't going to work; thats how its been. I have a generic Realtek PCI NIC that I dropped and works, you need to check the HCL for compatible NICs. I'd say give up on the onboard stuff though, you'll have to wait for that since there simply isn't any driver support for them.

If you have an ASUS A8N SLI Premium make sure to install BIOS UPDATE 1008 and you'll get sound working. You can use ASUS update utility from windows, it downloads automatically and installs easily. Also make sure to update sound and other windows drivers to at least version 6.56 (or something like that, check the asus download page).

I tried so many things before realizing it was a BIOS problem!!!!

hope it's the same with yours, good luck!!
