mindaugas
For some reason my Inspiron 9400 won't boot without the OSX DVD in the drive? I don't even get an error, just a blinking cursor. Any ideas?
darko_os
I had same problem and solved it with OSX 10.4.6 Install DVD. I've formated drive with disk utility from this version, restarted and changed dvd (inserted 10.4.8) and installed without new formating. Then sistem booted without DVD in drive. Unfortunately I haven't found out how to fix it when it's Already installed.

mindaugas
that did work, but I only had a small 10GB USB drive, so I bought an external SATA - USB enclosure and copied the partition, w00t. Sound, video, wireless all work.
