RedSox
I have two 512 sticks, dual screens 7300 GT. Anyway... Go to this site.... http://boinx.com/fotomagico/overview/ Ever 4 seconds the image (quicktime streaming) stutters for a second or two. Anyone have any idea why that would be? It wasn't like that BEFORE the 7300 Card (used a eVGA 7600 GS but couldn't get dual to work) none the less, this should stream fine.....without any stopping, stuttering. Any ideas? Did a system UTIL on all HD's, etc. Thanks!
RedSox
Figured out, although I have three HD's and would expect something like this with WINDOWS, I had my dual screens change pictures, yup, you guessed it, every 5 seconds, so that caused a little, tiny (I don't miss a thing) stall in a frame rate. You would think with OSX this would not happen. So, seeing how this IS the case, I wonder if this happens on REAL MACS and if we have REAL HD's support. I know in my HD System Utilities, two of the three say S.M.A.R.T. status not supported, even though I know they are. The OS drive says verified. So with that all said in done, in WIN XP, you can tweak the PC to be best suited for AUDIO / VIDEO! Is there any steps needed to do the same with a mac? Its obvious this is the case, otherwise, why the small glitch? Thanks!
