sylix
Hi, everyone! I've installed JaS 10.4.8, it works almost flawless so that it's my forever love I hope, except for one thing. When I reboot or boot, sometimes resolution of my monitor goes to something like 800x600, it shows big cursor which I can move but nothing else happens. Or sometimes when it boots or reboots it looks like there's no signal at all, the power button on the mon blinks as if it's in the sleep mode. So that I've to boot with Shift and again it helps or I've to try once again. But when it boots ok - that's ok and works just wow. What problem can it be? My comp is: CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Vid: ASUS 7600GS PCI-E Mom: ASUS P5LD2-SE/C

smd8803
Ok I had the same problem.. what you have to do is use the vga port on your graphics card. there you go! all good!
mspr
Hi, I had the same problem (with DVI connection) and I solved by setting in com.Appleboot.plist the correct video resolution If you insert these strings in you file your Mac should boot with the correct resolution <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280x1024x32@60</string> @60 is the frequency If you use an incorrect frequency you can damage your display
