So I would like to do it the manual way, could anybody tell me how it should be done, I have seen this information in any post I found. HexDump Posted May 17, 2007 Author Share Posted May 17, 2007 Ok I installed Diabolik drivers (lastest), and I was able to change resolutions, etc... but no qe/ci. this is what osx tells about my graphic card: Chipset Model: Unknown ATi Type: Display Bus: PCIe VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x71c7 Revision ID: 0x009e Displays: DELL 2007WFP: Resolution: 1280 x 800 @ 75 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Display: Status: No display connected Things to notice: Ati model not supported (I put my device id as diabolik states in the installer). After this, i installed this patch http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=35733 QE now working, resolution changable and rotation enabled. DualScreen not working. VGA OK, DVI only with DVI2VGA-Adapter. Then I installed the Jas 10.4.9 update and the new patch from the link above. -> No Change :-( So everything is fine except dual screen...
