aliquis
A few months ago I bought an nvidia 6800le to use for my hack, it's cheap and unlockable and give quite good performance for your money if unlocked. In Windows with rivatuner I noticed that I could turn on 12 instead of the regular 8 pixel pipelines and all 6 instead of 4 vertex shaders. There is a small piece of source code which can do the same thing in Linux, it was easy to make it compile but when I tried to run it there wasn't (?) a /dev/mem in OS X... So does anyone rest on a solution on how it could be done? Also how can I figure out the memory address of my video card in OS X? DaemonES
/dev/mem is no longer exists in Mac OS X. You can turn it on: pass kmem=1 to boot-args, but /dev/mem in this case doesn't work properly.
