RoyaRandom Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I'm trying to install os x on my computer chipset: ATI Xpress 200 (RS480), Southbridge: ATI SB400 using mchouin's guide (http://marc88.blogspot.com/2007/03/osx86-install-guide-for-x200-users.html) using JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.v1p.and.Deviant.patch.isothe same one that he used in his guide. but whenever i go to disc utility on vmware it never shows my hard drive. sivart7555 Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 did you format it? go to disk utility in the tools section first. Make sure it's partitioned and formatted there first. Oracle67 Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 It is good to use IDE hdd master and dvd drive slave, jumpered like that. SMART disabled from Bios and PS/2 keyboard and mouse. When you start hit F8 and then -v , give a picture of possible errors there.
