dsc106
Anyone been using MacDrive 7 for a while now? How has your experience been? Any errors/problems/etc? I want to setup my system with 2 boot drives, one NTFS for VISTA and the other HFS+ for Mac. Then I want to take the rest of my internal storage drives and format them to HFS+. This gives read/write access in Mac, as well as read/write access in the PC via MacDrive 7. These drives would be heavily used by both OSes, for pic/music/video storage as well as video editing and perhaps even application installs. I am wondering about the stability of MacDrive 7 for this. Should I be safe to use these HFS+ formatted drives through windows without fear of odd errors, corrupt file systems, etc.? Or does this just sound like a bad idea? erbic
I've had no problems whatsoever with MD7 and Vista. Always worked flawlessly, with no errors, corruption, whatever. I've heard differently from other people, but my experience has been great. Now I'm trying to make my Linux system write to HFS+. It's not exactly cooperating, either.
