I have Dell Inpiron 5160 with 10.4.8

Works great

Eats battery like mad, but I can live with it

Updated to .9 (keeping Ghost image first of course)

Updated to newest kernel SSE3 from irc (06.05.07)

As required deleted AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext

That makes my CPU's fan go like a chopper and the battery gets eaten even faster

Not to say that the wakeup does not work the same as before

Takes a while to go to sleep & instead of wakeup there is simply restart

So all in all seems like .9 made things worse

Is it only me?

And how to fix it?

Thanks

PS

Somebody must have an answer, anybody please....
