zbarsky
Can anyone reccomend a quick way to get connected to my adsl service? At the moment I can only access the internet in OS X86 10.4.3 via running it through VMWARE, but not natively as my USB modem is not supported. Can anyone reccomend a modem/router/ethernet device/solution? Thanks if you can assist (couldn't see any clear info in the forums but redirect me if I've missed something) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5061-internet-connection/ Share on other sites

Hagar
I did a bit of searching, came across this http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/usb_ethernet_adapter.html not great news in itself, (read the text in red) If your ISP supports it, an ethernet router to replace your usb adsl modem would be the answer. Check with your ISP. Edited November 29, 2005 by Hagar Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5061-internet-connection/#findComment-32216 Share on other sites
zbarsky
Many thanks, I am on the right track now! NIC card + router = internet connection. Need to check with my isp first though.
