Ok, I have an HP dv9000t laptop - these are the specs:

  • – 35% OFF! Genuine Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit)
  • – Intel® Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.0GHz/4MB L2Cache)
  • – 17.0" WXGA+ Ultra BrightView Widescreen (1440x900)
  • – 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 7600
  • – FREE Upgrade: HP Imprint Finish/Microphone/Webcam
  • – 40% off upgrade from 1GB (2 Dimm) to 2GB (2 Dimm)!
  • – 200GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (100GB x 2)
  • – FREE Upgrade - LightScribe DVD+/-RW w/Double Layer
  • – Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network w/Bluetooth
  • – HP Expresscard TV Tuner for Windows Vista Notebook
  • – High Capacity 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
  • – Microsoft® Works 8.0
  • – System Recovery DVD w/Windows Vista Ultimate
  • – HP Home & Home Office Store in-box envelope

I plan in the end on dual booting with Vista and OS X. I'm just curious with these specs, will I be able to install? It would be awesome if the wireless internet worked, and the webcam too. Also, which torrent would be best?

JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskut

or

Mac OS X 10.4.9 Intel SSE3 [JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 w

or something else?

Thanks!!

SATA == Bad. Don't count on it to work. And, it is nearly impossible to swap it out for an IDE in a laptop (I assume the motherboard won't even support it).
