PsychoSync
Hi I don't have a lot of money and i want to use my current cpu wich is an AMD Athlon64 3200+ with SSE3 and buy a motherboard wich would be more compatible with OSX86 than my current Asus K8N nForce3 motherboard. These chipset are the most common for 754 boards: - nForce4 4X - nForce 410 - nForce3 - ULI M1689 - VIA K8M800 - VIA K8T800 What chipset makes it the most compatible with OSX? Some 754 boards have PCI Express, would it be better than AGP as intel macs have PCI E? Thanks

dharmaboy
Hey dude, I have a K8N Pro which is socket 754. works good only need an IDE drive to work, stay away from ATI cards if possible as they dont work the best. My sound is up and down and there is a driver download installer for Realtek LAN to work which is easy.
