nurseman Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 So I had a working hackintosh 10.8. upgraded to 10.9 and it would only boot into safe mode. So I formatted the hd. I used the install cd... the same as the previous install (working JaS). Formatted as a hsf extended. installed and selected sse 3. (is have a pent d dual core at 2.8). Now when I boot it doesn't losd into Darwin. Stops with a " _$ ". Any ideas???? I tried to reinstall multiple times. nurseman Posted May 6, 2007 Author Share Posted May 6, 2007 yes.. I used the install disk but I found the problem. Some how in the bios the hds changed. I was able to select the boot disk @ boot up. I was still able to do this but for some reason no go. I installed a boot loader and it is up now.
