BlackCH
Im trying to use Logic Express on a P4 2,6 (SSE2). The thing is that whenever I insert an FX the program crashes with a message refering to the audio engine not being able to handle the process in time. I've tryed with the onboard audio and with an M-audio omnistudio USB interface, different latencies....but not a go. The project im trying showldnt be very demanding; its only 3 tracks..... I wonder if this has to do with the SSE2 emulation.... I might update the cpu if Im certain that it would solve the issue.... ...... VooD
Logic is supposed to use a lot of SSE3 optimizations, and SSE2 emulation is not perfect. So you´ll get either crashes or very high cpu usages. I have both, SSE2 and SSE3 computers and the perfomance and stability difference is huge. Do you experiment any crashes in your sse3 system (logic related)?, what graphic card do U use? ......
