Etho
Hello, I just had a HD failure and replaced my HD. The guy who did it formatted it, not partitioned it. For some reason I cannot partition it, and I would like verymuch not to loose the data that I have(again). Is there anyway that I could create a disk image and mount it as a disk and use that? Therefor if you only have one partition to start with (for example you have one hard drive completely dedicated to Windows XP) and you go to parition it into two partitions, you lose all your data. There are programs out there like Partition Magic for Windows that allow you to safely partition your drive without losing any data. I have been curious to hear if anyone has used Partition Magic yet in their dual boot conquests.
