I've already restarted with platform=x86pc and platform=acpi and also with -x, still the same problem. I can't disable ACPI in the bios (that option is not available). And yes, i have SSE2. macgirl Posted November 28, 2005 Share Posted November 28, 2005 Did you attach the image directly in VMWare or did you mount with 3rd party Tool like Daemon Tools or Nero Image Drive and assign the CDROM to the resulting Drive letter in VMWare? Try mounting the image with e.g. Daemon Tools & assigning the drive letter to your virtual cd-rom in vmware. hope this helps.
