darkrain143
I am new to this and I am having a rough time installing os x on my computer. I have a AMD Athlon 64 4200 x2 with 2 gigs of ram (800mhz) and a ECS K8M890M-M motherboard with built in VIA graphics and sound card. I pop in the JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2 and it just tells me to restart everytime. I have a 160 GB SATA hard drive as well as a 60gb PATA hard drive. Can any one help me? I would really much appreciated. I installed this on my dell xps m1210 and it worked fine. Sorry if I didnt post this in the appropriate part of this forum Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/50036-cant-install-os-x/ Share on other sites
Guest Ramm
SATA == problem. OSX does not work well, if it works at all, with SATA. This could be the root of the problem.
