It tells me installation completed successfully but when restart the it freezes on verifying pool data.. what's wrong with it.. explain to me how to do correctly the installation well. please reply to me. zenfantterrible Posted May 1, 2007 Author Share Posted May 1, 2007 when you start the instalation did you chose customize? did you chose all related pakages about Intel?What is your hardware? there was not an option to select customize.. only to select between amd and intel and drivers... i h've a 3.0 P4 processor(hyper treading), an abit vt7 mother board, an ATI agp video card, realtek sound card, 512 mb ram. Oracle67 Posted May 1, 2007 Share Posted May 1, 2007 Your motherboard it isnt on compatability list but that doesnt mean that it wont work. Do simple thinks like using ide hd and drive and disable SMART from bios, use onboard devices (audio, video e.t.c) and try more than one times to install. On next try you use Disk Utility press security options and erase with "one pass", it takes time but it helps. Im using a nforce4 ultra mobo with amd 3700+, SATA HD (Raptor) Does anyone have any ideas?
