elviejo
Sure yes, you can use that button with an script to jump to a particular place on the movie ( the button must be in a menu not the movie itself ).
paiva_n
it is not possible to the button or some selectable area to be in the movie itself ?
elviejo
Nope, the only thing you can do in the movie is a time mark (chapter) and, at the end of playing, instruct it to go to some place, but, if you do so, you break the play, so is not very elegant, another thing is if you have several videos and, for example you want to instruct the play to be in certain order or, if the viewer don't make some action, to start by itself; then you create scripts instructing how you want it to be done, by the way, every time you need to use scripts you are in deep waters. Guest Ramm
Quicktime can implement that somehow, I don't know how but I have seen it. Of course, the videos are in .mov format.
