skyfox
well first off how did you install? and what did you try?did you try modding your ati1000.kext with your device id number ( boris methoth) You would add your device id into the ati9700.kext, since the X1050 is RV370 based. It is not R5xx based as the deceptive model number implies. Anyway, you should be able to get QE/CI but there will be mouse tearing as with all R3xx based cards. skyfox
actually i think it is based off of 9600 see my sig (thats what ati control panel reports) Yes, its essentially a 9600 (RV350) with PCI-X compatibility tacked on. Really sad that ATI is selling a 5 year old chip under a model number that makes it appear to be the current generation. Marcusthacker, if you bought that card recently I would highly recommend you try to get your money back. You would do much better with a low end X1600 or Geforce 6/7 series and it would probably cost about the same.
