blau
hello. I recently downloaded a copy of Mac os x86 and it was pre patched. it exctraced as a folder rather then a .iso. inside the folder i had these files in the main directory. Apple Hardware Test Read Me.app(looks like a folder) | Applications(folder) | Japanese - 日本語 (folder) | Library (folder) | Optional Installs.mpkg ( looks like a folder) | Read Before You Install.app (looks like a folder) | System (folder) | Welcome to Tiger.app (looks like a folder) | .DS_Store | mach_kernel the file size all up was around 5.5 gb. i burnt it as a dvd iso with a double layer dvd. i restared my computer to allow it to boot from the dvd but nothing happends. it just goes strait windows booting. i have made sure my hardware is compatible. my current os is windows vista ultimate. can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong thank you very much in advance. blau. hecker
If you extract the files, like you did, then you loose the booting capabilities. Burn the image directly and it will work. Cheers, hecker
