JuzzMann Posted April 26, 2007 Share Posted April 26, 2007 hello all, i just installed osx86 10.4.8 on my computer and was wondering how i could update the mach_kernel, i currently have 8.8.1...could someone please give me detailed instructions on how i can get a new mach_kernel(i'm a noob if you havent noticed)............also i have realized that when i click on "about this mac" all the icons go away and i'm left with just the desktop image, then a couple of seconds later it all comes back but still no "about this mac" window, any idea y this happens??? thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
audit13 Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Are you using an AMD machine? I was having the same problem with an Athlon64 3200 on a mobo with a Via chipset.
