I did exactly like him, and the same result. Thougt it might be the patcher that caused it. I just tried because I saw someone in the forum that recomended the 8F1099 patch for 8F1111. We better hope maxuss make one soon, can't wait Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4929-installing-macosx_1043_8f1111-dvd/#findComment-31462 Share on other sites

os_overload
wait, so v1.1a only patches 1099 because i've heard differently Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4929-installing-macosx_1043_8f1111-dvd/#findComment-31725 Share on other sites
macgirl
It can patch 8F1111 but what I heard is only problems and crashes, I see that oah750 files are different in size, so I suspect they changed somehow, I did not compare kernel sizes though. Metrogirl
From what's being said elsewhere - the patcher will happily patch 8f1111 but the patched files do not work on this build . As others have said, you will have to wait for new patches before you will get this to work. Shouldn't be too long. As others have said, you will have to wait for new patches before you will get this to work. Shouldn't be too long. I actually have used oah750 and oah750d from build 8F1099 and injected them (using hdiutil) into the 8F1111 DVD image in dmg format. This is just to circumvent the TPM protection , but, of course, the mach_kernel is the original one and it won't work for systems lacking SSE3 and NOXD cpu instructions. The result seems stable, but then again, it's better to wait for somebody (i.e. Maxxuss) to release the new patches. If you want to know how I did inject these files into the DVD image you can have a look at my blog. But you need a mac or a pc with macosx . http://roachtimes.blogspot.com Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4929-installing-macosx_1043_8f1111-dvd/#findComment-31860 Share on other sites
Hagar
Injecting the oah files from 1099 into 8f1111 with transmac also works fine, but the result is more amusing than useful. Since one of the major supposed changes in 8f1111 lies in rosetta, this kind of cross-patching seems pointless. Better to wait.
