furri
Hi everyone, System Profiler isn't detecting my CPU type, it's also showing dram running at 0MHz. Can anyone advise how to rectify? Is this due to incorrect bios settings? Please see the attached screen grab. See below for system spec (kernel info in screen grab). many thx furri screen.tiff
sarahbau
It doesn't affect the operation of the computer (unless there's a program that's checking CPU type and says "You need a G5 or Intel Mac to run this," and even then I'm not sure it wouldn't work anyway. I've not run into any problems yet, and my ASP reports the same thing. However, CHUD tools reports the correct CPU type. It's part of the developer tools, but you might be able to download CHUD tools alone. See attachment.
